Text messages appearing to be from Clear Mountain Bank debit card services are appearing on cellular phones across the region.
DO NOT REPLY TO ANY TEXT MESSAGES!
THEY ARE NOT LEGITIMATE!!!!
They DO NOT have access to our systems and they DO NOT have your card information! The only way to prevent these scams is to not fall victim to them!!!!

We are aware of the multiple scam attempts by phone and text message that are being sent across our region on the 9th, 18th and 25th.. Please be assured that we are NOT making these calls and have NOT been breached. These scammers are using other phone systems to "war dial "and text ranges of phone numbers across our region and across the country.
Clear Mountain Bank WILL NEVER cancel your card via phone or text message.
Again, we will NEVER contact you via automated or personal phone calls to cancel your services. These phone calls DO NOT originate from Clear Mountain Bank.

Counterfeit Cashier’s Checks- 03/09
Counterfeit Cashier’s Checks are being fraudulently issued drawn on Clear Mountain Bank, Bruceton Mills, WV. These checks list a remitter of Linda K Murray and are most often accompanied by an “Award Claim Notification” letter. The notification letters bare the names of Global Charities & Games and/or bclc – BDC Games Inc. and are signed by the name of Dr. Kathy Stanton.
Please contact us at (304) 379-2265 or 1 (800) 637-2265 during normal business hours (EST) to verify the validity of any Cashier’s Check drawn on Clear Mountain Bank.
