Clear Mountain Bank Named Among 20 Most Innovative Banks in the Nation
Posted on: September 10th, 2018
Clear Mountain Bank recently received national recognition for its Clear Mountain Cares program, by being named among the “20 Most Innovative Banks” in the country in the August issue of Independent Banker Magazine.
Clear Mountain Bank is a locally owned community bank deeply rooted in the communities it serves. In September 2017, Clear Mountain Bank launched a community service initiative, “Clear Mountain Cares.” The Clear Mountain Cares program grants bank employees one paid day off from regular work duties to volunteer to serve a community organization of his/her choosing. Employees are free to volunteer for a charitable organization they are passionate about, as long as the organization serves a need within the many communities the bank serves. Clear Mountain Bank established a goal of completing 500 hours of service during the first year and well-exceeded expectations by logging a total of 760 hours of community service to 33 local organizations by 101 employees.
“While we certainly didn’t develop the program for awards or recognitions, I think this honor speaks volumes about how unique and special the program is and what a dedicated and caring team we have here at Clear Mountain Bank,” stated David M. Thomas, President/CEO of Clear Mountain Bank.
