Clear Mountain Bank’s Gunter Appointed to Fairmont Board

Jeffrey Gunter, vice president of audit, compliance and risk management for Clear Mountain Bank, has been appointed to serve a two-year term as a board member for the Fairmont State Foundation.
Gunter has been with Clear Mountain Bank since 2015 in his current role, in which he coordinates and oversees the banks internal audit, regulatory compliance and enterprise risk management activities. A native of Gassaway, WV, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a banking minor from Fairmont State College (now University).
Gunter is also a graduate of the West Virginia Banker’s Association (WVBA) School of Banking and holds certifications as a certified fiduciary and investment risk specialist (CFIRS) through the Canon Financial Institute Securities Operations School and certified internal auditor (CIA) through the Institute of Internal Auditors Inc.
