Jesse Bumps and Chase Thomas accepted for WVBA Emerging Leaders Program

image01 image02Bruceton Mills, W.Va, March 8, 2017 – Jesse Bumps and Chase Thomas of Clear Mountain Bank were among a group of 15 bankers recently nominated and chosen to participate in the West Virginia Bankers Association’s Emerging Leaders Program. WVBA’s Emerging Leaders is a yearlong program to develop, strengthen and connect young leaders across the banking industry statewide. Program participants will expand their professional network, gain skills to inspire and motivate people, and learn how to advocate for the changes banks need to better serve their customers.

WVBA schools and programs provide a learning experience that benefits bankers over the course of their career. Upon completion of the school, students have acquired an understanding of their roles as financial services professionals. The faculty of events sponsored by the West Virginia Bankers Association consists of bankers, educators and professional leaders, with excellent teaching credentials and vast experience.

Bumps is a commercial lender at Clear Mountain Bank and has more than nine years of experience in commercial credit, finance, and accounting. He is a graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and is also a certified public accountant.

Thomas is an accounting associate at Clear Mountain Bank and has worked at the bank in various capacities since 2014. He is a graduate of West Virginia University with bachelor’s degrees in both finance and accounting.
